Peruvian Potato Park Director to Share Traditional Agricultural Insights at FAT-AGRO 2024

We are excited to announce that Jhon Edison Ccoyo Ccana, the Director of the Potato Park in Peru, will be participating in the annual International Scientific and Practical Forum “FAT-AGRO” on August 15-16, 2024.

The Potato Park, located in Pampallaqta, is a collective of five Andean farming communities in Pisac, Sacred Valley, Cusco, Peru. These communities are dedicated to preserving their ancestral agricultural practices and maintaining harmony with nature. They cultivate native potato varieties using traditional methods passed down through generations.

At the forum, Mr. Ccoyo Ccana will share his expertise and insights on sustainable agriculture and traditional farming practices. His participation will be a highlight of the event, providing valuable perspectives on integrating ancient techniques with modern agricultural advancements.

The “FAT-AGRO 2024” forum promises a dynamic program featuring workshops, lectures, and discussions on the latest trends and successful practices in agriculture. Mr. Ccoyo Ccana’s involvement underscores the international scope of the forum and its commitment to bridging traditional and contemporary agricultural methods.
