The Valencian company Patatas Lazaro has launched Papp!ns, its new brand of potatoes. This new brand manages to reach more households as it is packaged in a fun, warm, and informative packaging that takes into account families and new homes.
The new brand of the Lazarus Group works the entire category, from very versatile potatoes that are suitable for all culinary uses to potatoes that have specific culinary uses, such as frying potatoes, red potatoes, and garnish potatoes. In addition, each reference is accompanied by a character that humorously reflects the culinary use of the potato contained in the bag. The entire line is available in 100% recyclable packaging, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.
Papp!ns has been available since this week in Covirán supermarkets throughout Spain with the new Spanish potato collected this June.
“The launch of Papp!ns responds to our desire to diversify our product and reach as many households as we can. 97% of Spanish households buy potatoes, so our goal was to create a brand that would amuse consumers and make them enjoy the food,” stated Cristina Lazaro, Director of Business Development at Patatas Lázaro.
With the launch of Papp!ns, Patatas Lázaro increases its brand portfolio, as it did in 2018 with the launch of the AgriD ‘or, Agria potato, and Freshnatur brands, the latter of which reflects the importance of sustainability and innovation within the house. Under the Freshnatur brand, last year the company put on the market the first 100% biodegradable container for potatoes in Spain.
