In India, introduced a new agricultural drone based on a gasoline engine. This was reported on the website ixbt.com.
Starting in 2022, Indian farmers have been allowed to receive loans to purchase drones that can be used to spray PPPs and apply fertilizers to agricultural fields. This approach stimulated the development of UAVs in the country and allowed new innovative solutions to enter the market. For example, a drone startup backed by Anna University has developed a new DH-AG-HI agricultural drone (or Agrigator drone), which is the only certified gasoline-powered hybrid drone that does not require frequent battery changes.
Note that the Government of India is currently promoting the drone ecosystem to raise awareness of the support that drones can provide to modern agriculture. Farmers and agro-entrepreneurs will be provided with subsidy schemes to promote drones among the farming community. The State Department of Agriculture of India is raising awareness of drone technology by providing proper training on their use of red sensors.
Design Bureau Gorbunov – the first UAVs with a gasoline two-stroke engine and a cooling system
In St. Petersburg, the development of copters with a gasoline engine is also underway, for the purposes of transportation and logistics of scales up to 25-30 kg. The design of such systems is supervised by Gorbunov Design Bureau, where they test the first devices with a two-stroke gasoline engine and a cooling system.
