The Kiremko sliver remover has undergone a major innovation resulting in a more efficient machine which now removes more than 98 per cent of slivers.
The slivers are separated from the end product for French fry sticks, dice, wedges, slices and small potatoes. Improvements have also been made to the transverse roller principle to achieve optimal sorting and no loss of good product.
The hygienic and strong stainless steel sorting rollers have a unique grooved profile which ensures a smooth transition of the product. The sliver remover is capable of achieving a capacity of up to 19 tons/hour.
The drives are mounted inside the closed sorting rollers eliminating the need for the traditional chain wheel drive resulting in less wear and making the machine virtually maintenance free.
The integral scissor adjusting system can handle slivers of only 3 mm from small, thin sliced product whereas for larger product it can be set up to 16 mm.
The sliver remover 7.0 can also be delivered with a servo adjustment which can be set automatically through a computer controlled system.
In addition to reliability, the machine is provided with variable settings making it versatile in all its applications. Kiremko
Furthermore, the water and energy use of the equipment is low. The machine is completely made of stainless steel and maintenance-free, thanks to the hermetically sealed driven rollers and the integral scissor adjusting device.
