According to a document signed by Governor Stanislav Voskresensky, a new measure to support agricultural producers will take effect in 2023, the press service of the regional government reported on Tuesday.
“Subsidies will be provided to agricultural producers from 2023 to reimburse part of the costs of carrying out agrotechnological work, the production of potatoes and vegetables in open ground, including elite varieties,” the message says.
9.8 million rubles are provided for subsidies to farmers in the Ivanovo region in 2023. As explained in the government of the region, a new type of support for agricultural producers was introduced as part of a new federal project “Development of vegetable and potato growing.” “The new support measure is aimed at expanding the sown area occupied by open ground potatoes and vegetables, as well as increasing the production of these crops in agricultural organizations and farms in the region,” Denis Cherkesov, director of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ivanovo Region, was quoted as saying.
