This was announced by the head of the regional agrarian department Sergey Izmalkov. The preliminary amount of funds from the two levels of the budget for the development of the agro-industrial complex in 2023 is 5.2 billion rubles, which is higher than the level of the current year.
“For the industry, the main financial document of the region for next year is balanced. We managed to keep all the key areas of state support for the agricultural sector. At the same time, we will reorient the emphasis on the development of vegetable growing, funds for support are allocated twice as much as in 2022. On behalf of the Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, state support will appear for the purchase of breeding young cattle of the dairy direction. Also, on the terms of co-financing with the federal budget, we will continue the set course to increase the area of reclaimed land. The budget of the Stavropol Territory for the development of agriculture is directly related to the tasks of ensuring food security, determined by the head of the region and the federal center, in the interests of millions of people,” said Sergey Izmalkov, Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
At the same time, a comprehensive system of support for small businesses and the development of agricultural cooperation will remain the priority direction of the agro-industrial complex.
