Planting of potatoes and vegetable and gourd crops in the Rostov region is planned to be increased in 2022. Potatoes and vegetable melons are now sown on almost 60% of the area from the plan. About 1.2 million hectares or 70% of the plan were sown with spring crops. Cereals and legumes are sown on more than 80% of the area. Industrial crops – on 60% of the area. This is evidenced by the data of the Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In 2022, the provision of the region with grain seeds is over 100%. Also enough vegetable seeds and potatoes. There are no problems with fertilizers in the Rostov region either: 600,000 tons of all types of mineral fertilizers, or 97% of the need, have been harvested for spring field work.

Agrarians of the Rostov region for preferential short-term lending will receive 350 million rubles more than planned. The limit of the Rostov region exceeded 2 billion 670 million rubles. From the federal budget, the Don agro-industrial complex receives state support in the amount of 1.5 billion, which is 80% more than last year.
