Innovations in Farming Technology, Breeding Achievements, and Agricultural Machinery
From June 20 to 22, 2024, the sprawling landscapes of Stavropol Krai will host a significant outdoor exhibition showcasing modern Russian agrotechnologies, breeding advancements, innovative land management methods, and flagship agricultural machinery. Organized annually by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, this event promises to gather representatives from federal and regional authorities, agricultural businesses, scientific communities, industry unions, and financial institutions.
Spanning across 63 hectares at the MCV “MinvodyEXPO” and adjacent fields, the 2024 All-Russian Field Day will feature a rich blend of business, demonstration, and entertainment programs. The exhibition will welcome Russian breeders and manufacturers of cutting-edge agricultural machinery, plant protection products, fertilizers, and agrochemicals.
For industry experts and participants, roundtable discussions and agreement signings will be held. A pivotal event will be the plenary session chaired by Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut. Additionally, the Minister will address the Farmers’ Forum, focusing on support measures and future prospects for small-scale agribusinesses. The events will be broadcasted live on the ministry’s website and social media platforms.
In addition to its extensive business program, the exhibition will host demonstrations of state-of-the-art agricultural machinery in both static and dynamic displays, including test drives. Moreover, competitions among student mechanizers from professional educational institutions in Stavropol Krai will take place. Agricultural professionals will also have the opportunity to evaluate high-yielding varieties of various crops under real field conditions, showcasing achievements in domestic breeding.
Visitors can enjoy a diverse entertainment program featuring performances by artists, various competitions, children’s animations, and sports events. For the first time in the All-Russian Field Day, a tomato festival will be held, featuring lectures, creative workshops, and culinary shows. The equestrian zone will showcase different horse breeds, with a costume parade, equestrian shows, and quizzes for the audience. Additionally, the exhibition area will host the “Earth of Sports” Marathon, featuring strength challenges, performances by fencers, arm wrestlers, kettlebell athletes, and martial arts masters.
On June 21 and 22, renowned Russian performers will take the main stage. The program on June 22 will be dedicated to a significant date for all Russians – the Day of Memory and Sorrow, marking the 83rd anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.
