Lyudmila Alexandrova, a resident of the Breitovsky district of the Yaroslavl region, received a grant from Agrostartup to create a potato farm thanks to the national project “Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives”. This was reported in the administration of the municipal district.
The project for the creation and development of a potato growing farm, presented by Lyudmila Alexandrova at a competition in the Department of Agro-Industrial Complex and Consumer Market of the Yaroslavl Region, scored almost the maximum number of points. In addition, six more residents of the Yaroslavl region won the Agrostartup grant.
“We plan to purchase a Belarus tractor with the funds received. Due to the significant rise in the price of equipment, we cannot cope with the purchase on our own, so I believe that this support greatly facilitates the existence of beginning agricultural producers,” said Lyudmila Aleksandrova.
The purpose of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” is to support businesses at all stages of its development: from the initial idea to expansion and export. National projects initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin started in 2019.
