Construction of the first plant processing potatoes in the Tyumen region has begun in the Uporovsky district, in Russia.
As Construction.RU has been recently announced by the press office of the regional administration, the facility is designed to process up to 30,000 tons of potatoes per year and produce between 15,000 and 17,000 tons of end products.
The plant is expected to release the first production lot by the end of 2018.
Apart from that, the project includes the construction of an additional storage facility in 2019. The products made by the enterprise will be delivered to retail store chains and public nutrition facilities.
Last month, the authorities announced that a modern potato processing plant will be built in the Arskii district of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.
