Sormac has recently announced the renewal of its knife peeler MS-20, with improvements in cleaning and hygiene.
This knife peeler has a new frame design and does not contain any loose parts, which improves hygiene, and makes the machine easier to clean. The MS-20 is designed for continuous peeling of pre-cleaned or pre-scraped tuberous products, such as potatoes, beetroot and celery. The knife peeler removes so-called “eyes” and bruised patches, resulting in a smooth end product that looks like it has been peeled manually.
The new design of the knife peeler is characterized by containing no loose parts. For example, the doors are fixed to the machine and may be folded up horizontally.
Also, the machine has been designed so that they are no “dead” angles, which makes the knife peeler easy to clean.
Other USPs of the knife peeler, which complies with the latest European guidelines, are the patented “floating” three-point suspension (ensuring calm and stable rotation of the drum) and the fact that the peeling drum with a special shape is \ manufactured from food-safe plastic. The special shape enables the Sormac knife peeler to achieve the best peeling results compared to other knife peelers in the market. https://www.youtube.com/embed/R-zTfhwBHNk
