Lamb Weston / Meijer will invest in FAM cutting machines, for the plant in Bergen op Zoom, which processes up to 500,000 tonnes of potatoes each year.
The machines therefore handle large quantities of the vegetable to produce diced potato, chips and other cut shapes. For Lamb Weston / Meijer one of the key performance indicators was machine maintenance, according to FAM, which added that the frozen food industry needs robust and reliable machinery that guarantees minimum downtimes.
