The Australian provider of food processing solutions tna will be presenting its systems for fresh produce applications in February at CFIA Rennes, as well as an on-stand ‘production line’ at Snaxpo (Dallas, USA) in March.
From February 11th to 13th, in France, tna will showcase its range of roflo VM 3 conveyors specifically designed for use in the fresh foods industry and the tna robag FXIS 3ci series for polyethylene packaging with omega 614 scale.
The distribution technology roflo features a high throw conveyor with longer spring length and alternative spring angle, enabling it to run at a higher amplitude (approximately 15mm) and at a much lower frequency (around 12 Hz). This results in an aggressive vibratory conveyor, which easily distributes non-fragile, wet and sticky products. It also features a dimpled pan for the transportation of fresh fruits and vegetables, available as a proportional gateless system to reduce product damage or breakage through the absence of any device mounted on the end of the tray.
On-stand production line
The line to be exhibited in Dallas from March 1st to 4th will include the new intelli-flav 5 seasoning system, a series of closed loop oil sprayers that offer consistent coverage and flavour, for both wet and dry seasoning. It will also feature the roflo 3 conveyor and a packaging machine – the robag 3ci high speed VFFS bagger, which offers reaches rates of up to 150bpm on potato chips.
tna’s portfolio includes over 6,000 systems installed in more than 120 countries. Additionally, it provides a wide range of products including spraying, distribution, seasoning, weighing, packaging, metal detection as well as system controls & integration solutions.
