Oud-Beijerland, October 1, 2023 – PotatoNext, the forward-thinking cooperative born from Agrico, Nedato, and Leo de Kock, is embarking on a promising vision for the future of the consumable potato industry.
With a strong emphasis on certifications such as Global Gap, the “Better For” program for Albert Heijn, and Planet Proof, PotatoNext aims to provide better support to its growers, relieve them of burdens, and expand their knowledge. This merger enables the cooperative to take significant steps in certifications and establish more intensive collaborations with stakeholders.
The cooperative focuses on maximizing the value of consumable potatoes with a strong commitment to reducing waste throughout the potato chain, from grower to customer. Growers can confidently look forward to a future where PotatoNext is dedicated to sustainable, profitable cultivation and optimal valorization of consumable potatoes.
With a balanced selection of varieties, particularly targeting Next Generation and robust types, PotatoNext is poised to set the industry standard for quality and sustainability.
We are delighted with the recent formation of the new board of Coöperatie PotatoNext U.A., comprising the following members: Vincent Coolbergen, Jan van den Hoek, Frans Meerse, and Paul Versluijs.
