In the Moscow region, 17 new vegetable stores are going to be built in the next two years. These investment projects are being implemented to avoid a shortage of local agricultural products on the shelves and thereby stabilize prices.
During a working visit to Kolomna, Deputy Prime Minister of the region Georgy Filimonov met with the leadership of two large agricultural producers.
JSC “Ozery” grows and refines potatoes, vegetables, grains, and is engaged in seed production of potatoes and onions. By the third quarter of 2023, it is planned to build a modern vegetable storehouse for two thousand tons here.
And Agrofirma Sosnovka JSC can already boast of modern vegetable stores, which allow keeping over 18 thousand tons of vegetables and potatoes under the cold. The company plans to build a new modern potato storage with active ventilation for 4.8 thousand tons of products.
“Thanks to direct communication “on the ground”, understanding is established between the regional government and farmers and joint creative work begins,” Georgy Filimonov wrote in his Telegram channel.
