Lázaro’s ‘Calixta – Patatas Mini’ for the Microwave Range

Patatas Lázaro, a Valencian company, has introduced a new brand to the market – ‘Calixta – Patatas Mini’, expanding its portfolio.

For Cristina Lázaro, director of Business Development of Patatas Lázaro, this new launch reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its product portfolio while taking into account the market’s current and growing needs, Agronews Comuntiat Valenciana recently wrote.

“We know that there is a consumer who is looking for facilities to follow a healthy diet in his day to day, and who in turn is demanding with the products he buys. This is how ‘Calixta […]’ was born, through which we want to reach that consumer who does not have time to cook, but who wants to eat well,” Lázaro said.

The launch of Calixta adds to the new brand of Patatas Lázaro, Papp!ns, which has introduced to the market this June. With this new product, the company increases its portfolio of brands, in the same way as it did in 2018 with the launch of the AgriD’or brands, a product focused on the sour potato: special fried, and Freshnatur, a brand that reflects the importance of sustainability and innovation within the house, offering a range of agricultural products together with its star product: the potato. In that sense, under this brand, the company put on the market last year the first 100% biodegradable packaging for potatoes in Spain.

Patatas Lázaro’s new brand responds to today’s consumers by offering appealing, healthy, and consumer-friendly options. The new Calixta brand, aimed at a current audience looking for fast, healthy, and quality products, is ready in just 7 minutes in the microwave, allowing the customer to enjoy a natural product without cooking.

Calixta is presented in a 400 grams mono-material, 100% recyclable container designed so that consumers can close the circle of the container by depositing the bag in the corresponding container, the yellow, thus following its commitment to sustainability.
