According to the agriculture department, 12,200 tons of early potatoes were shipped by the Limansky district. Mass digging on farms has been going on since June 25. The price dropped to 14 rubles per kilogram. The main part of the tubers is sent to other regions – to the capital, Yekaterinburg, Dagestan, Kazakhstan and other places. The harvest is also sold in local markets.
Late potatoes are being planted, some have already sprouted. The planned area under late varieties is 1500 ha.
Hay making continues. The first mowing of sown grasses (Sudanese, alfalfa) was made. Natural grasses are being harvested. In total, about 3.5 thousand tons of hay were credited.
