To ensure the food security of the republic, Aisen Nikolaev set the task for farmers to increase the production of local agricultural products. For this purpose, the sowing area has been increased to 49.2 thousand hectares this year.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Yakutia, the total sown area at the moment is 43.9 thousand hectares, or 89% of the planned volume. At the same time, the plan for sowing grain crops was completed by 101% and the total area occupied by them is 10.9 thousand hectares.
Also, the plan for planting potatoes was fulfilled in 100% volume, an area of 6.5 thousand hectares was planted.
At 94%, the plan for planting vegetables in open ground was fulfilled, at 82% the area was sown with fodder crops.
Thus, the general sowing plan for 2022 in Yakutia has been completed by 89%.
