This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus – Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Belarus Rustam Muratov.
According to Rustam Muratov, greenhouse farming, orchards, deep freezing, sublimation – all this is for us the know-how that will allow us to take certain steps. There are agreements on opening a juice production plant in Bashkortostan. Our Uzbek colleagues voiced this intention during the meeting. Now we are packing it, we will provide the most convenient location. Therefore, juices, primarily from our vegetables, will be produced.
He added that Uzbekistan is also extremely interested in cooperation in growing potatoes, since the features of the land do not allow them to do this. There is already an agreement with an Uzbek company that produces chips. There are also intentions to produce, process and grow sugar beets.
In addition, Bashkortostan is considering the possibility of creating a joint production for processing cotton. The republic produces components that are supplied to Uzbekistan for the production of fabric.
