In 2022, the government and the Ministry of Agriculture for the first time allocated a per hectare subsidy for potato production. This stimulated the growth of sown areas for vegetables by 21%, for potatoes – by 15%. Now several large vegetable stores are being launched, which will allow us to store all the goods from autumn until the new year’s harvest.
- Now our vegetable farms have contracted with our retail chains for the supply of the entire annual volume. Conventionally, in the spring we will not import potatoes from other regions, or, worse, from other foreign countries. For potatoes this year we are completely closing the issue. Starting next year, we will close the entire borscht set – cabbage, beets, – announced at the agrarian committee in the WSO, acting.
