The Kostroma region is taking additional measures to ensure the uninterrupted supply of social institutions with vegetables and potatoes.
Another measure to support the development of potato growing will be assistance with the purchase of seed material. Social institutions will be able to purchase potatoes for planting for 5% of its market value. The remaining 95% of the costs will be reimbursed this year to agricultural producers from the regional budget as part of state support.
In the Vokhomsky district, contracts for the cultivation of potatoes were concluded with peasant farms “Rogachev V.A.”, “Budilova”, “Rogachev O”. Also, all schools in the district have personal plots. For example, Petretsovskaya secondary school is fully self-sufficient in all vegetables. Social organizations of the Vokhomsky district have concluded contracts for a one-time supply of these products with the Kostroma agricultural enterprise.
