Kiremko and FAM Stumabo have recently agreed to enter a long-term mutual global business partnership, according to a recent press release.
“In this partnership, FAM (a Kiremko-partner for more than 20 years) will supply mechanical cutting systems and Stumabo will provide precision blades and knowledge to integrate the best blades in Kiremko hydro cutting systems. Stumabo will cover the complete and direct fulfillment of blades for the customers of Kiremko,” the companies’ representatives mentioned.
In this respect, Wilfried Rombauts, sales director – Stumabo International, said that he’s ‘delighted’ by Kiremko’s choice to integrate Stumabo’s chip gun blades into their cutting heads.
“I am convinced that our customers stand to win a lot from this partnership. This conviction is reinforced by the already very successful collaboration of FAM with Kiremko, to which we at Stumabo hope to further contribute,” Rombauts added.
Marcel van Huissteden, director of Kiremko, added that his company’s management is very excited to have entered the partnership with Stumabo.

Long-term Strategy
Kiremko will exclusively use Stumabo knives in its innovative cutting line and hydro cutters. In the short term, this partnership will lead to efficient logistics and thus cost savings for the customer.
Within the production process, optimization will take place in the cutting line regarding the service life of the knife blocks, which will result in an improved cutting result and a noticeable reduction in residual product, and a reduction of downtime. In the long term, these efficiency gains will lead to cost reductions for the companies customers.
In addition, Kiremko and FAM Stumabo are continuously working on improvements to the cutting systems intending to manufacture a better product and promote sustainability by reducing waste and use of raw materials, all to make their customers successful.
