This year, state support for subsidies for agricultural insurance in the field of crop production in the Stavropol Territory is one of the most significant in the country. For these purposes, 662.3 million rubles are provided, the government of the UK said.
In May, the agricultural department of the region subsidized insurance contracts for spring crops of the 2022 harvest. Support was received by 32 agricultural producers who concluded 41 insurance contracts.
146.8 million rubles of state support made it possible to subsidize 71.5 thousand hectares of spring crops (peas, corn, sunflower, sugar beets and others) in 19 districts of the region. At present, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Territory has fully subsidized insurance contracts for winter and spring crops of the 2022 harvest.
Earlier, the forthcoming harvesting campaign was discussed in the government of the region at a meeting held by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
