HarvestEye, a cutting-edge machine-learning crop insights tool, has forged a strategic alliance with G Visser & Sons, a prominent potato grower based in Prince Edward Island (PEI), to elevate produce quality standards in the competitive North American market.
G Visser & Sons has integrated HarvestEye to meticulously track the size, shape, and variation of potatoes processed on their packing lines, handling an impressive 226.7 tons of produce weekly. This collaboration aims to refine the grading process, ensuring stringent quality control while supporting conveyor belt sorters in their physical tasks.
HarvestEye provides a cost-effective solution for real-time visibility into root crop harvests, encompassing potatoes and onions, accessible via an intuitive internet portal. The technology seamlessly integrates across harvesting machinery for crop lifting, grading equipment, and handheld devices for precise in-field assessments.
