A large distribution center worth 1,5 billion rubles will be built in the Bryansk region by X5 Retail Group, which manages the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Karusel chains, said Mikhail Erokhin, director of the regional department of economic development, on his VKontakte social network page. According to him, the products will be delivered from the distribution center to shops in the regions of central Russia. He noted that Bryansk farmers, producers of food and other products will be able to directly donate their goods here, and X5 itself will send them for further sale throughout the country. It is noted that in the past two years, X5 Retail Group has implemented a number of similar projects in the country, there is a similar center in the Moscow region.
