Hash brown waffle lovers need to look no further than Aldi after McDonald’s shocking announcement that its breakfast waffles are being discontinued.
Customers can stock up on the Four Seasons Mini Hash Brown Waffles (454g) at the supermarket for 99p. The new product can be cooked from frozen in just 16 minutes and is in stock online for the moment.
Before the restaurant’s 2023 January makeover, the item with three waffles per box was taken off the McDonald’s menu in December 2022.
Waffles and hash browns are both made of potato, however, waffles often have more uniformly sized potato bits whereas hash browns are more of a mess of shredded potato.
